Bandai Namco Publisher weekend said it was from around 14/15 to the 18th...
and yet the sale ended midway through the 18th? If i knew that i would have not have waited till today to buy a couple games.

Is anyone else upset by this lack of obvious clarity on sale dates and times?

All sales end 10am Pacific Time on the date specified.

Even says so right here... http://store.steampowered.com/news/32604/

And on the main Store page along with every games specific game page.

Sales end at 10:00am PST on the last day of the sale. It has been like that since the Steam has had sales.

They should really add that on the banner, how many people even look at the official links or remember that it tends to be 10 am pst?

Either way i still feel it should at least go till 6 ot 8 pm the last day or else just not included that day in the banner.

Also, when a game has less than 48 hours left on sale, the expiration date turns into a countdown timer.

Why should it when the weekend already ended? Or would you prefer 6-8pm on Sunday?

If you "usually" see them, then you should also know when they generally expire.
Why did you wait, anyway?

Then move countries. Over here rollover is 7 pm, not accounting for daylight savings differences.

ALL SALES end at 10am PT unless they specifiy a different end time like, 11am or 1pm in PT.

And we are still on daylight savings time until it is over. That is why I omitted the D in my posts.

Fine with me. 10am Pacific Time is 7pm (or 6pm, depending on DST differences) around here.
Add the games you want on isthereanydeal.com and wait for the next sale.
Hi Omni Flare,

The sale will almost certainly be repeated last weekend in November (along with virtually everything else on Steam).

Also at some point Steam usually does a themed Japanese sale - might go on sale then too. Can't remember seeing it this year so may be still to come.

S.x.
