I don't believe it's a driver issue, it's happening in too many games..this is something more general.
I don't understand anything from what it says.
So right now it's happening in the surge 2 every few hours..the game just stops responding and crash to the desktop. But it happens to me all the time lately with every game I play!
It happened in wolfenstein (windowed mode seems to fix this though) and metro exodus I can even play through the tutorial stage without hard freeze (need to reboot the system) and now the surge 2!
I have high end pc (10900k,2080ti,32gb 3600mhz ram) and everything is up to date! no bloatware, just clean windows installation and steam.
I have rejected almost every factor, except steam..maybe something with steam? maybe cloud saving or something while I play?
Please guys, what can cause this?

This guy had similar issue, and someone recommended to uninstall realtek driver and let windows install the generic one. Does it makes sense to any of you?
The Realtek issue sounds plausible. I never had the issues you had, but when I had the Realtek drivers installed (the ones actually belonging to the laptop on Win10) every game and video had a 5 second delay. Realtek drivers have been crap for years now and the transition to Win 10 hasn't made it actually better. I run the generic High Definition ones.
Unless you have an actual sound card, running with the generic ones is good enough. Personally I find the sound better, though the Realtek drivers had better options/customisation. Don't actually need them, though.
I just did a fresh windows 10 installation and this time didn't installed the realtek driver (if windows decides to install it on its own than I can't do nothing about it) and didn't even installed the intel Management Interface and Serial IO (I actually never knew what these are for but installed them anyway).
Hope this time The games will run smooth.. keeping my fingers crossed
i would pass on that release. if they write it like that is is way more than the exampled games. and these include 2 different engines, anvil and forgelight, which are 2 completely different proprietary engines and that is never a good sign.
also the longest open issue list i have seen since years.
i would try an older nvidia driver.
I played the surge 2 and again I had a crash! (it mostly happens during finisher animations for some reason..although it happened once when I was just exploring).
Anyway, I went straight to the event viewer and I see error Event Id 1000, source: application error.
This is must be related. What should I do? why does this happening?
Do any of you know what to do to fix this?
