price of CS;GO keys

4 euros on average? Isn't that like super expensive given the fact you get an item from a case that's worth 90% less? Is the market out of control? Do people actually buy this?

It's a gambling crate. Really low odds for more valuable pieces just like any other gambling practice.

No idea as to how much keys are as I refuse to buy a key to open a crate. Yes people pay ridiculous money to open cases hoping to get lucky. Much much cheaper. If I want a skin I'll buy the skin. See below

Was a post the other day in CSGO forums were someone said they'd opened 300 or 3000 cases and didn't get anything worth more than 20.

So using OPs 4 euro per key and the thread the other day.....Lets say 300 crates as 3000 sounds rather extreme. That would cost 1,200 euro not including case purchases.
