Cannot connect steam account with facebook
I try to connect steam account with facebook but there's an error said "App not set up: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions."

What a waste. I tried for many times. Steam was banned by facebook? XD
App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don't have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permissions.

If the feature is gone why does it show up on steam? Steam needs to update this app then.

some profile update stuff leaked over the past months. maybe they wait until that is finished to do something with that facebook function.
Valve for sure doesn't have issues to keep old/broken stuff live on the site for a while ... or even 10 years.

Steam did that to me as well for some people. If you quote them you can see what they write.

Sadly the post to facebook option is the only way to tell steam you are uploading to the community and not your personal page. They kind of have to keep it live until they change the button to something else... and that could take years considering all the important issues they deal with trying to keep things running.
