how does steam define nudity?
so like when ever i go threw their games, i see they have a tag for nudity in games, but even if you buy those games, they seem to not have nudity unless you download other programs that restore said game to its full glory, so i was wondering, how the hell can steam say a game has nudity in it when the version they sell dosent?? so yea, id like to know how you can define nudity without seeing a naked body?? ... (few exeptions to this rule seem to exist, but for the most part no nude games do not seem to have naked bodys in it) i also wondered about Sexual Content, because to me "Sexual Content" seems like their should be sex in it, but hey i can let that one go, because some of the "Sexual Content" games do imply sex, they just dont show it, witch is... again going back to the nude thing, now i know of a couple of games that indeed have nudity in them and yes naked bodies, but an example to what i mean was nekopara, or say sakura clicker, where they say their is nudity in it, but i never once saw any from steams versions, so yea, dose steam have a diffinition or reason they misslable game tags or is it that they just copy and past the origonal version of that game's game tags???

nudity is anyone that is not wearing appropriate clothing, or enough clothing, or it is sexually 'sugesstive'. thank god steam has brains enough in this area to ban people who post nudity and other offensive imagery. because it is that, offensive.

I dont actually think there is a classification, as its different in every country....

If the aussie pollies get hold that people are selling R18 content without restriction here there will be a new lawsuit to sue valve

and god help the mental people suffering confrontation of ideologies.
these threads also just get deleted

facts are this in australia

RC (Refused Classification) – Contains material that, while being, in most cases, legal to possess, is considered offensive to the standards of morality, decency and propriety generally accepted by a 'reasonable adult' to the extent that it should not be classified. Classification is mandatory, and films that are Refused Classification by the ACB are legally banned for sale, hire or public exhibition, carrying a maximum fine of $275,000 and/or 10 years' jail if an individual/organisation is found to be in breach of this. It is, however, legal to possess RC films and games for people over 18 (except in Western Australia and certain parts of the Northern Territory) unless they contain illegal content (such as child pornography). The content is very high in impact.

Films and games that exceed the X 18+ & R 18+ ratings (respectively) are Refused Classification by the ACB. Content that may be Refused Classification includes, but is not limited to:
Detailed instruction or promotion in matters of crime or violence.
The promotion or provision of instruction in paedophile activity.
Descriptions or depictions of child sexual abuse or any other exploitative or offensive descriptions or depictions involving a person who is, or appears to be, a child under 18 years.

how about its common sense not to post ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nudity in message boards? hmm? ♥♥♥♥ the classification on what people THINK is nudity, and lets just abolish the filth. there is literally, no need for it in a public setting of any kind.

I'd say steam classifies nudity as being nude.

it is a tag, a tag is crowdsourced by the Steam users. they define it whatever they think it is.

which most of the time, isn't actual nudity..

this is the issue with the current tag system, I have seen people throw the nudity tag and ones akin to it on some of the most wholesome games out there
