Audio Dota 2,Discord

Hi, in the morning I was playing Dota 2 without any problem, I close my account, I open my account again at the minute and the problem is that I cant hear anything in Dota 2, the Discord was heard perfectly, I restart the PC and now I cant hear anything in Dota 2 or in the Discord.
But I can listen to songs on the Windows Media Player, on YouTube, other applications like Blizzard work well.
I already test with other headphones, but both Dota 2 and Discord dont work.
Someone who can help me with this problem. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, when i was using discord, the sound on my dota 2 stopped working when i used headphones. I've tried re-installing dota, but there's no sound when you plug in headphones, even though the headphones work fine for other applciations. Not able to find a solution to this problem.

(windows10) right click your sound icon in taskbar, open sound settings, click troubleshoot.


if that doesnt auto fix the problem, reinstall audio drivers.

Any other answers to this ? I tried what zooey said but it did not solve anything for me. Same issue for me, mic and audio works fine everywhere, in dota as well, but when i start discord, Dota 2 sounds get muted out of the blue. In the settings, I have set the correct audio device too
