Because of a temporary trading lock
Anbd that lock is what makes it safer than just about anywhere else.
If you do go outside Steam just remember to not make a forum post about getting scammed later (since you won't bother to follow the trading rules and guidelines) if you do since there won't be anything done about it and the items will be gone.
PUBG items can't be traded anywhere.
Market purchases have a 7 day restriction on them.
CS:GO 7 day trade restriction was added for a few reasons.
All these things can't be bypassed by using 3rd party sites.
Im not blaming you, Im blaming the scammers who now wants to kill my reputation since I've exposed them. Check out the PUBG trade discussions
That is why you report them, not call them out.
Naming and shaming is not allowed, please report such scammers by their profile.
You got scammed because you were trading codes for promises outside of Steam.

Now you see why this is another reason why PUBG Corp disabled trading for their game items?
