Trivia Vault series should be remove

Hello all,
Trivia Vault series (any game) has 5000 achievements and you get entire 5000 achievements when you first open Trivia Vault Game. I though I had to earn, but no, it awarded 5000 achievements on the spot.

I really really want 5000 achievements to be remove from my account and have Steam look in those games, perhaps, remove them because it is like a scam. I emailed to support help. Meanwhile, I'm deleting all of those games from my account, but stuck with achievements.

Can't refund because I bought them like over a year ago. I don't have any issues about refunds, but just want "5000" achievements to be deleted.

Anyone in a same boat?

Nothing about those “achievements” is like a scam.

Those games are still from a time when Steam allowed games with that many achievements.
Doubt they will remove them after all these years.
Just dont buy them. Functionally there is nothing wrong with those "games", its simple trivia competition games with a bunch of thematic packs.

Achievements are pointless anyway.
If you want to get rid of them just use SAM and relock them all. Its one button click.

they sell well enough to be not profile limited, so there is clearly a demand (the demand is probably 5k easy achievements though)
but if the dev does not or has not done dumb things, they will stay.

if you want the achievements removed, either ask the dev to implement a function for it ... or use SAM.

I have no issue with you wanting to get rid of the achievements, I really don't, but wanting Steam to remove this game is ridiculous. It's not a scam, it's a personal preference that you're talking about here. You want to deny other people this game simply because *you* don't like the way achievements unlock. That's just sad, actually.

Yes, with SAM (Steam Achievement Manager).
Most people only use it to "cheat" achievements or mass unlock them but SAM can also relock already triggered achievements.
Its mainly useful if you maybe have a game you only have 1-2 achievements in and dont plan to ever play it again. Just relock those achievements so they dont count for your profile average.

Oh yeah, Trivia Vault is one of those series that give you all achievements for just starting the game.
And SAM simulates starting the game so its just a endless loop of deleting - unlocking.
Huh, dont think there is anything you can do then to be honest.

using sam to lock achievements will work.
sam will just "simulates" to steam that the game runs. that is necessary to send api commands.
only running the real game executable will unlock achievements. running the game via sam will not unlock anything.

I heard that if the game is blocked in Steam, then the achievements will be lost.

SAM doesn't help, I don’t know how, but achievements are still awarded by themselves
