Everyone hated steam back then and we all called it a steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥.
It was annoying and a resource hog, and completely changed the way we installed games.
Steam has massively improved since then and is better than any other PC service of any kind.
Someones memories have clearly altered into being better than it actually was.
These days? I don't mind steam at all. Back then? Total nightmare. I personally never saw steam becoming anything useful, but.. look what happened.
But regardless of the client version, I ALSO think that the client would benefit from having this olive green color rather than the black/dark-blue color it's currently using as its theme color. This olive green is far less dark.
Now people complain about 50 ping, lmao.
I remember being thrilled having below 100! Man, I feel old.
