"If I installed ALL of my games..."
I'd like to clarify that this is a "what-if" and not something I'd aspire to (ahahahahaha unless....?)

I have a bunch of games (~1400) on my account. I would like to know how much space these games would collectively occupy if I happened to download them all.

Besides going through them all, one-by-one, is there a way to do this?

No. It's not a very practical or in-demand sort of feature, so not very high on anyone's list to implement I'm afraid. Sometimes when you want to know some extremely niche and arbitrary data you have to do that leg work yourself.

You can Ctrl + click and Shift + click to multi-select games and batch install them (and see how much space they need).

If you have any large games in your library (like Hitman 2, Ark, Atlas, Doom or Total Warhammer) then it's probable you'll need 8+ TB storage space for all your games.

Thanks. I used the mysteamgauge.com tool above and it says they would require around 4.5TB total, which seems inaccurate; however, I know that several games (like MMOs, for example) download smaller via Steam and then get the rest from their launchers.

I do own a good number of large games (only one specific one that you mentioned, but a few that show to be taking up a large amount of space in the Windows Uninstaller), so this seems...small to me?

That is a good site. Used it before.

Anytime!

It is more or less accurate actually. However as you pointed out some games only get their launchers via Steam and then download the rest via said launcher but those are only a hand full from what I know...

Anyways the site is not finished at all. I tried it out yesterday and I had a ton of games showing with 0MB size (one of them was HITMAN 2016 which obviously is not small xD).
I would say you gotta try it a few times to get an accurate result and better take a performant browser and of course keep that window and tab focused until finished. Best bet would be Chrome I guess.

After all I guess this will be your best approximation for what you would need for your library.

7,5 TB is not as much as i would have expected.
Thought would be 10+ for sure.

Edit: yeah, like 1/3rd of the games dont have any details at all, no size or anything.

I know. That many games seems like it would be.

Now start buying all games that require over 100GB.

Yeah.

I have a 5TB drive, 500GB drive, and 2TB drive, and I can't even install 1/4 of the games I own between the three (although a good amount of space IS occupied by work stuff)

As mentioned the tool is not finished at all... give it a few tries.
Last time I tried it and I couldn't find any 0MB sizes in there it told me something around 60TB - was at around 4.300 games back then.

As I said it's good for apporximation but for sure it is far from being exact. The most exact measurement would be to build a crapload of NASes and keep installing games. When ever a NAS is full to the brim hook up a new one until you have installed everything. Or you can do the same with external harddrives. Anyways you wont be able to fit your whole library into your tower in the near future.

Maybe one day when Quartz-Storage reaches consumer-state

I can't even begin to imagine trying to fit my whole library on my computer, especially since the only ISP in my area caps monthly data consumption.

But I was (and I guess I still am?) curious to know.

I can tell you it is only a thing for enthusiasts
I started bulding a NAS and it is currently filled with 20TBs and I only have around a quarter (at tops) of my library installed there while it took me around 700€ for the drives only to build it.

It is far from lucrative to do it but it feels awesome to have like thousands of games ready to play

ctrl/shift+select everything. rightclick, install.

will take a while on many games and steam may become unresponsive for this time but the install window will show the accurate install size of everything. the mentioned website doesn't have the size for a lot of games and counts them as zero.

Not really... For some games it shows like twice the size that is actually used. Payday 2 for example shows around 80-90GB in said window while it's only 60 on drive
