Steam Remote Play Together not working
Hi! My name is Vinny!

Well, I have been trying to use remote play together with my friends but it always says "unable to connect to remote computer", is there a fix for this? I would be really happy if there is.

What I have tried:
Disabled and enabled remote play
Used the beta client
Open 27031 and 27036 ports.

Can anyone help me?

opening up ports is only necessary on the host and the protocol also matters:
What network ports does remote play use?

Streaming uses UDP ports 27031 and 27036 and TCP ports 27036 and 27037. Please make sure Steam can listen on these ports in your firewall software.

All remote play work kind of the same so to try fixing the issue is doing the following, both sides may need to check on things.

- Port forwarding. What Wuddih posted.

- Ensure firewall / antivirus / router firewall isn't interfering with connections.

- Change DNS back to default, or use another DNS service.

- May want to flush out connections
Run command prompt as administrator.
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset

If not working still try these in order, then restart, and test.
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

I read both user setting has to match each other; like resolution at 720p for both ends. Sounds like a hassle but i dont got no friends:winter2019sadyul:
