DOTA 2 is a very popular and current game so it's obvious why they are dedicating a lot of resources to it.
Just look at Payday 2 and all the weapons they made for it and how many of them ended up so identical stat-wise that they are basically just alternate skins that only matter for picking which one you like the look of or gets you achievements. Or the COD series which regularly puts new textures on old maps and sells them as new ones.
More is not always better.
tf2 gets regular modes added are you joking the last gamemode added was in 2016
Alot of my steam and real friends have been chatting about, is more better and really, yes it is. It feels lazy when devs just add reskins, thats why people hated the tf2 invasion update all of the new weapons were just reskins, and nobody like it. People wanted new weapons not reskins, of old ones.
and the truth is tf2 is also making valve a boatload of money off the steam market it deserves better the people who play tf2 and csgo deserve better, I mean there are the consumers and they have the right to demand more for their products.
And business should make their consumers happy, and you know what I'm not happy.
Businesses have one prioority. Making a profit and sometimes that means pissing off your customers for the greater good. To put it another way. Do you sink resources into games that are quuite oild or do you focus more on the newer stuff?
