Do you have an example?
Well it's blurring content they are providing themselves, in-game screenshots that are remotely perceived as sexual are blurred, yet they provide an option to not have it blurred.

I don't want any game content blurred, and they've given us an option to decide, i decided not to have anything blurred yet it's not being honored.

Link to an example of affected content please...

If you have a blurred image/artwork that does not contain nudity or inappropriate content, please contact support so they can correct the issues.
Here are two examples, one featuring no sexual or sexual suggestive content whatsoever, and the other featuring somewhat sexually suggestive content that YOU YOURSELVES provide in a popular game you offer on your platform.

It's a game you're providing, and you're giving us an option not to have it blurred, so how hard is it for you guys to remember me deciding not to have ANYTHING blurred, apparently it's just as hard as remembering my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ age so i don't have to re-enter my birth date each time i visit a rated-r game.

VIOLENT & SEXUAL CONTENT
Some user-generated content may not be appropriate for all audiences and will be blurred by default. You can change your warning preferences below:

Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent violence or gore Blur and warn about content that may contain frequent nudity or sexual content.

Well... There is an obvious reason why second one is blurred. I see a nude girl. Not that I have anything against it but it is blurred for that reason. The first one, I don't even know what the...
It gives us an option not to have anything blurred though, that defeats the option alltogether.

I don't want to have to re-enter my birth date everytime i visit a certain game, fix your ♥♥♥♥!

I don't want to have ♥♥♥♥ blurred when you clearly give us an option not to have it blurred, otherwise just remove the content you're so offended by alltogether.

Maybe there's a bug with setting the preference. It's a relatively new feature. Probably just have to give it some time. However, the blur for the second picture is definitely correct.

The first image was clearly an error, and it's been corrected. That's the type of image that's worth contacting support about so they can fix it.

I see the blur has been removed from the first shot. but it was done manually just now.

Again, you gave us an option to have ♥♥♥♥ blurred or not, we're not talking about p0rn here, wer're talking about content that you yourselves offer on this platform.

In this case it's The Witcher 3, you've given us the option to not have ANY game content blurred, but even when one decides to uncheck both options in settings you're still forced to give permission each time your flawed automated system blurs something, that's what's bothering me.

I unchecked both options, now honor it, and while you're at it try to remember my age as well seeing as both these problems seem to be automation related.

Um. Just because they host the games doesn't mean they will allow the content to be seen by everyone freely... It contains nudity, it is blurred. 1+1=logic. It's not hard to understand, is it...?
It is for a lot of people Zero, the anime VN hubs have had a lot of uploaded screenshots deleted because of nudity, I don't know if it is as bad as when it started.

I know about the VN for obvious reasons but I also try not to upload any nudity myself since it contains stuff that steam don't want to be made public in their galleries. So I keep them private.

READ, they gave us the option to not have it blurred, people can set their preference in the settings.
This image has been blurred, as it may not be appropriate for all audiences.

WHY THIS IMAGE?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is marked as mature and may generally contain content not appropriate for all audiences.
Google Cloud Vision and Amazon Rekognition have both told us that they detect content in this particular image that may not be appropriate for all ages.

They still don't want nude uploaded to Steam.
