There are a lot of weapons to buy and it can take quite a bit of time to either get them by doing the achievement or finding them normally.
Been plenty of times when new weapons have been nerfed due to being a bit too powerful.
If people call Battlefront 2 pay to win because it had loot boxes, TF2 is pay to win as well.
Battlefront 2 was P2W thanks to the upgrade system. You could level up characters with this loot and the upgrades were quite hefty for some. So if you invested a lot, you got more cards, you got more upgrades, you got more power.
