this is all digital... you could probably get any stat you wanted....
person click on coupon and viewed sales page for 14 seconds... no sale
I do know that anyone putting a coupon/advert in a paper
would want to know the response versus the cost of their promotions.
getting your brand out there does have to convert into dollars somewhere along the line..
Because those have actual costs that can be ridiculously high sometimes (compared to the actual space you get).
But they measure the same way whether a coupon was succesful. They look at transactions and coupons used. That tells them how succesful coupons are for their game(s).
thanks for the tip Reboot... i did it...
How should that box have any influence on coupons? The coupons I get are not for my games, not for new releases and not for upcoming releases. I just checked the coupons I have in my inventory, some are for games released in 2016/2017.
we do need to get a delete function on coupons in inventory
i dont mind getting a good coupon...
so we need a delete function for me...
and a opt out completely for you...
seems reasonable...
LOL... it cant be fun being valve....
so we need a warning delete function... once its gone its gone...
or
maybe we could have a request coupon function attached to game forums...
;)
it is free, it deletes itself in a relatively short time.
i dont see a reason to give user the ability to delete them. zero world ocd issue.
It's nothing but an annoyance and useless clutter to me. And other example of just how out of touch Valve's become.
but how is self-deleting stuff clutter?
and what have promotional coupons to do with Valve or them being out of touch?
they dont even give them out, that are the devs/pubs of stuff you have on your account.
1. let them Xspire
2. Use them
3. Give them away
Is it really necessary to be able to delete them?
Or maybe apply one option like this:
STEAM OPTIONS
What do you want to do with your coupons?
I want to have it as it is [ ]
I want to automatically give them away [ ]
I want them to be deleted [X ]
1. Directly
2. After 1 week
3. Set your own time limit: [ ] days [ ] weeks [ ] months
i just want the option..
