they only list authorized resellers. if a site starts to have problems, they will get removed from the list till that sites gets its act together.
https://isthereanydeal.com/
All of the sites you have listed are.
Mind you: Not every key you can buy there is a Steam key (Uplay, Battlenet, GoG are all there, too).
offers the ability to compare regional prices. It's handy for keeping track of Price history too.

There are some "mystery bundle" deals on fanatical but you don't have to try your luck. They have a standard storefront for games and deals are often good.
Or https://steamdb.info/app/730/ prices tab for Directly from Steam purchases.
GMG, Fanatical (aka BundleStars), HumbleBundle and also GoG are all very legitimate sellers.
Not all sites on isthereanydeal are entirely legit. Nuuvem is kind of spotty. I've used them before but I'd be wary. Also, some of the sites like newegg and others have games offered by user/affiliate sellers, and those users/affiliates are reselling some shady *** keys.
NO ONE HAS THAT INFORMATION.
not you, not itad, not even the stores know if they are authorized for every damn key.
every since that sniper elite 3 f'up, people start throwing around with that dumb word.
in the end, THE CUSTOMER NEVER KNOWS THAT.
it is also wrong. all of them use software license distributors (those do nothing but acquire keys and selling them to other retailers) and probably also act as one. if you have contact to hundreds of product owners you pile up on stuff sometimes and if stuff doesn't sell to customers, you start selling to other stores. that is how the ruble rolls.
the stores listed on ITAD have higher tendency to get their keys directly from the product owners. that is about it. they certainly do not have the direct route for every single product they sell, that is straight up impossible after a certain catalogue size.
All three are legit and are excellent to shop at. I’ve done lots of shopping from them after the Steam Summer Sale ended and I’ve shopped at Fanatical and Humble Bundle for years. What’s cool about them is they have their own deal times and so even after the Summer Sale ended, I am able to grab Steam Summer Sale prices on the games.
I actually found Bioshock at Green Man Gaming as my last purchase cause I was looking for Bioshock and they had The Collection for $15 and I thought this was definitely fantastic cause Bioshock Infinite alone usually goes for $13 and Bioshock 1 and 2 at $7 a piece. The Collection nets me the base games of Bioshock 1 and 2, the Remastered versions of them, Bioshock Infinite, and all dlc.
Now if I can only find Bayonetta for cheap. 😏😍
