postcode on the address

so i was thinking what happen if i put another or fake postcode when i creating my steam account. but the address where i live is real city town and house number are all real.

You can put any address you wish but when buying something, you have to put in your details that match your payment method precisely as these go through an AVS check which has to be 100% for the purchase to work.

There is absolutely no logical reason not to put the correct details in and a fake address may not even work as being unrecognised.

no the email address is real only the postcode is wrong.

You don't need to. When you next make your purchase, the postcode you enter has to match the one on your payment method. Address details are not stored on Steam.

Best not to put your personal address in public view. You also don't seem to be reading or understanding anything that is being said.

Addresses are NOT stored on Steam but when you are purchasing, the address must 100% MATCH your payment method billing address.

If you don't understand any of this, find someone within your household to read it and then explain it to you.

but when i purchasing the game is fine they even send to my email address.tell me how much money i spend.

Not all countries use or care about postcodes, if that's the only detail that is wrong it might not matter in your specific country.

Do you live in the same house as them? If so you can't stop them knowing that you are playing games on Steam. If you use your own payment method they don't have access to they won't know how much or if you paid for the games.

Nothing is delivered to your home address. If you don't tell them, they likely wont know.
