Attempting to buy ARK Scorched Earth for American friend from Canada
The store won't let me at all saying that my region price is different, therefore I can't send it. THere are no region locks on the game. What id going on? I should be able to send this to my friend

Send him a digital gift card.

Read the FAQ at the bottom of that page first.

You can even edit amounts over $5 by altering the URL to fit.

If the price you pay in your country is more than 5% off from what the person you're going to gift would pay for it, it doesn't let you.

You can send him a digital gift card so he gets wallet funds to buy it with instead

Canadian store 21.99 = 17.34USD

US store 19.99 = 25.35CAD

More than 10% both ways.

10% of 19.99 = 1.99 ... So, 19.99 - 17.34 = 2.65 > 1.99 or >10%

10% of 21.99 = 2.19 ... So, 25.35 - 21.99 = 3.36 > 2.19 or >10%

Well that is utter nonsence. Most canadians have american friends they want to play with. Having this glitch is annoying as a lot of people dont know about virtual gift cards.

2. there was an announcement and there is this[i.imgur.com] about gift cards.
