Rainbow Six Siege rubber banding issues
When I first started playing R6 i never had rubber banding issues, but after reaching about 150 hours on the game I noticed something somewhat subtle, every 20 seconds I would move back about 1 meter. After about 1 week of dealing with this, it became severe. Every 5 seconds I would get stuck in place for about 10 seconds. This completely stopped my obsession with game, furthermore I tried to find a fix, I attempted to lower my graphics which didn't work. I do get oddly bad ping but I had it even when i wasn't rubber banding so that didn't come across my mind as a contributing factor. I reinstalled, moved closer to my router etc, which didn't fix anything for me. Recently I discovered that packet loss could possibly affect this problem, I do have a wireless extender which could be the reason why i have packet loss, but like I said; I did move closer to my router which didn't fix it. I love R6 and I wish to continue to play it but this does set in my way of enjoying the game. Does anyone know any fixes, and if Ubisoft does somehow see this please understand that I'm not the only one with this issue and a fix would certainly be appreciated by many if possible.

Thank you for reading :)

You may be better posting on the Rainbow Six Siege Hub
Or even more on Ubisofts fourms (There ubi are more likely to see it)

Here its more for all of Steam, and if its only with that game its more likely you find help on an area for that game alone

Rubberbanding is the game putting you in the spot where the server says you should be. It's caused by your connection, mainly bad ping and packetloss. See if connecting to the router with a cable fixes it, even if it's just for a short test. That lets you determine if the problem is in your house or on the net between your house and the server.
