More games like this?
I like how much collecting there is in this game for some reason. Are there any similar to this, where you just run around collecting stuff and doing simple levels?

I don't know if you'd like Yooka Laylee but that has a lot of collecting in it. https://store.steampowered.com/app/360830/YookaLaylee/

I'd also recommend A Hat in Time if you haven't played it yet. One of the best 3D platformers I've ever played.

I'd recommend Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1-3. Don't bother with the 4th one, though.
Here's the first one:

Edit: Oh, it was already recommended. Oh well.

Spyro is an incomparable classic in the 3D-platformer genre. Spyro is truly unique, he has no equal in his atmosphere of magic.

Psychonauts 2 for sure, best platformer I have ever played. The price is a bit steep on steam, but you can get it on the Xbox game pass.

There's a whole genre for this called "Collectathon". Super Mario 64 started the trend, and it's been a popular genre ever since. If you enjoy collecting things, the "Metroidvania" genre is also something to look into. While you don't usually collect things to the same extent as in collectathons, it's still usually a key feature within the genre. The Castlevania Advance Collection here on steam has a few decent Metroidvanias, as well as Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and the ZX games in the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. The Blaster Master Zero games might also be worth looking into.

There's also the "Creature Collection" genre featuring games like Nexomon Evolution and Temtems. These usually tend to be RPG games similar to Pokemon, with a number of creatures to collect in each game to complete your collection.

I'd recommend plugging genre names into the tags of your steam searches and seeing what comes up.
