This thread covers solutions for the crashing issue that some people have experienced:

The only issues I personally experienced throughout the trilogy were frame drops during loading screens and a couple minor instances of it during gameplay in the third game. I would definitely recommend it.
So what is the frame number I should try? (did you give the correct link? Aren't they talking about specs?)
Okay, I'll give it another shot then :-) Thanks
If your PC is capable to run the game at even more frames, set to Unlimited with V-Sync OFF and cap the framerate to 120 fps with your video card or RTSS, since Spyro can slide at framerates above 120fps.
Also, for some people the collection has problems with save file deleting progress or corrupting game habilities when you go offline, so I recommend to manually do a back up of your save file (FalconSave.106.sav) each time you will stop playing, just in case. Backup the save file with larger size, it should be your current save:

As for the crashing problem, there's one related to the internet, this should solve that:

Jesus christ o_O I really don't know if I want to deal with stuff like that?!
Thanks for the warning but that is one truely pathetic technical state, no?
I'm still playing Spyro 3, but except for the Alpine Ridge bug, none of the others problems have happened to me.
I personally clocked almost 40 hours completing the trilogy and never ran into any issues that affected my progress or enjoyment at all, and I didn't take any of the precautions listed in the comment you quoted. That stuff is really only necessary if you want to essentially guarantee that you won't encounter any issues whatsoever. But most people don't encounter them either way, and there are known solutions for those who do.
Yes. The solutions are in the third comment in the thread I linked.
mid setting on GTX1650, even some lever under water fps also no stable
