yeah. lots of people have the same idea - the game was overshadowed by original trilogy and kinda bit the dust. same with Wrath of Cortex for Crash Bandicoot
I would be glad to play A Hero's Tail too. I never finished this game; my friend gave me PS2 disk but I never got thru. from what I remember it was alright. sorta a black sheep bit miles better that Enter the Dragonfly
But I don't want to drop the couple hundred for the console then who knows how much more for the games... a port would be great. Even if it was buggy it'd be better than nothing.
Or just play through an emulator with a PS3 controller
idk which one but that was og
Enter the Dragonfly?
Yeah, Enter the Dragonfly from what I can tell is the Wrath of Cortex for the Spyro series. I still think it looks fun and would do better without the performance issues it has. I sort of enjoy some new ideas with Wrath of Cortex (new vehicle levels) and still view it as an okay Crash title for trying to keep Crash Bandicoot the same experience it was, but that's actually the problem. Not enough new ideas were done to it, when past games always tried to be something more different and the same. Too much as it is known was recycled in the levels of Wrath of Cortex and the gameplay physics made for less smoother gameplay. Coco's platforming levels are quite generic and poorly designed versus her unique role back in Warped. However, Crash's underwater levels look pretty and just like a higher resolution Warped, but I think they play inferior to Warped underwater levels. When Crash lost his torpedo gun, Crash was still very useful without it, but getting certain crates destroyed with it was the main difference. The bosses... Well, Crunch. Another thing is Crash's design in WoC because he looks much skinnier in the waist and torso than he did previously, but otherwise looks like Crash.
It's like when it comes to Crash's body proportions, too much has changed over the years. He has gone from skinnier waist and torso to less arm muscle and a shorter height with tattoos. Currently his new design is flatter, just like his shoes. :-) His upper back and torso width has increased again with a shorter height, changed size in his legs, and he has a pizza-sliced face versus his muzzle previously. I do like the new ears and pupils though. They pop more. I also still personally enjoy his design from Twinsanity to Tag Team Racing though. Everything down to that goofy smile! :D
N. Sane designs looked like they were trying capture Crash more accurately. Vicarious Visions did a great job back on Nitro Kart designs too, when they created a newer Crash Team Racing experience (before Nitro Refueled) with actual teams in the racing. Apart from all of this, with Spyro, that Skylander's design is out of this world different. lol
