Having the Hover ability makes platforming sooo much easier. And the Hub-Worlds have no enemies (Unlike Spyro 1, where the Hub-Worlds are basically levels in their own right) so you are safe to muck around and learn the controls.
Just be aware that some of the optional challenges are excessively difficult/tedious. If you're playing a mini-game that's too hard, then just skip it. There are more than enough of them to collect enough Orbs to get to the final boss.
The Spyro Games are kind of weird in that getting to the end and beating the boss is easy. But trying to 100% the game? You'd probably have an easier time playing Dark Souls or something.
Never thought I'd see the word hard and classic Spyro in the same sentence. 💀
Never had this problem, sounds like a skill issue. And I've got the double jump mod from Omniswapper. Git gud son. Spyro 2 and 3 are incomplete but let's not make mountains out of molehills cause an enemy takes a 0.25 seconds to attack. 💀🤓 Also you're wrong, played both OG and this remake. Bosses in 2 and 3 don't attack you unless you move.
