i cant get the game to start

so i got the game installed, and when i tried to launch it, it gave me an error saying it needed something c++ to run, and it asked me if i wanted to install it now. i clicked yes and installed it, but after doing so and attempting to launch the game again, the same error popped up. and after clicking yes to the install, the installer pops up, and it asks me to uninstall it. so i have no idea whats wrong. if anyone has any ideas as to what the problem might be, and can help, i would thank you

reboot after installing the C++ redistributable, also post your PC specs if it still doesn't run after

i will try it as soon as im done reinstalling the game, (im attempting to do that next, so thats going to be a wait) thanks

I get as far as the control select screen then the game freezes and quits.

yea, even after a restart, it still gives me the same error, this is so strange, think it might have something to do with the game being installed on my external hard drive?
