Can't get Bug Control Achievment
So "Bug Control" is my last achievement, but i can't get it. I tried without landing on ground, without going through the superfly again. And i just can't get it. Watched video guy did a lap then went through the superfly to recharge it and killed the 1st that did respawn. i don't know just can't get it. maybe it is because i don't have fire anymore but fireballs ?

Turn fireball off with a cheat code ingame. You can still kill off the last draclets without going through the superfly portal. Might want to try to verify integrity of game files too.

This is because you have to do it from the get go. The first time you take the superfly, that's it, you have to kill all the bugs in one go.

If you fail, you can't just let them repop and try again. You have to restart the level or kill Spyro (by drowning in the green goo for instance).

I was confuse by this achievement as well and found the solution online, hope it will help :)

I've killed all the draclets in one flight, from the first superfly (without going through the portral again), without landing on the ground, with my normal flame; the achievement still won't pop for me. It's the first achievement issue I've had with the game.

That's a bummer :/
Maybe you can try these things (if you haven't already) :
- Die in a green puddle.
- Speak to the npc before doing the flight.
- Do the flight in reverse.
That's the things I did, I'm hoping it will work for you as well!

I love how your first option is "kill yourself".

Letting them respawn worked for me on PS4. Good to know if it possibly doesn't work on PC since I'm going for all achievements/skill points again.

I did the achievement yesterday. Just listing what worked for me.
On pc. With superflame. Dying between each try. Speaking with the npc before trying. Doing several laps recharging the superflight each lap but without touching the ground.

Also having trouble with this one. It took me more than one lap to hit all of the draclets but I did not touch the ground (or water) at any point. I have the perma superflame, flew the track counter-clockwise.

I guess I'll go back to CG and try again. Really frustrating especially when it's not one of the easier achievements in the first place.

EDIT: Got it! Here's how, in case it helps someone:

Failed, exited level, returned. Talked to the NPC although I already had the Orb, never once lost the superflight after activating it, DID accidentally land once, took more than one lap, flew counter-clockwise. Achievement unlocked right after I superflamed the last draclet.

I think exiting the level if your superflight runs out is key. I didn't want to try the suicide method. :p

The last of those bugs is in the sky. It's strange how it spawns there, but you can see it if you get a good angle. You can't fly high enough to reach it.

I'll try getting them all on my first try and restart the level if I fail.

"On PS4 and XBO, the Trophy for this level, “Bug Control”, requires you to kill every single Dracklet here in a single flight. Rather than being without landing, instead what this means is before the 40 second Superfly meter runs out; landing on the ground is absolutely okay. Don't worry if you see a Dracklet past the Superfly Powerup at the end of a lap; this is expected as part of doing the Challenge.

What makes this Trophy extra-frustrating is that you can't reset it by waiting for the meter to run out and then leaving the area: you must exit the level and re-enter it in order to have another shot."

Only if you fly clockwise. Counter-clockwise, you will fry all 18 before returning to the powerup spot.

Just got the achievement, you can take as long as you need and do as many laps until you get all 18 bugs flames so long as you keep the powerup active. If the Powerup timer runs out you will have to exit the level and try again. Not a bad achievement just keep that power up timer active.

Was having a hard time getting the achievement as well, but I just got it.
I missed a few draclets on the first lap, crossed the portal and killed the rest on the second lap, still got it.
I first talked to the NPC and ever touched the ground, though.
