How can I get audio and subtitles in different language from each other?
I bought this game, REALLY REALLY excited to see the vast language options (dub and subbed). I've been learning Danish the past 3 years, you see - not an easy language to find video games in.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems the dub and sub follow each other - I cannot have Danish audio and English subtitles? Can anyone tell me how I might be able to achieve this?

(I can't do both Danish sub/dub. My Danish reading is kind of OK; sometimes I watch movies with Danish subs on, but I still can't "hear" Danish at all, hence why I'd like English subtitles to it. Of course, I'd adore it even more if you could run two subtitles at once, haha, but I'll be happy for the interchangeable dub/sub!)

Unfortunately, for some silly reason, the developer (or by the publisher's decision) forces us to play with audio and text in the same language (Warner is another publisher who loves doing it). And if we remember that this compilation has a bug in some languages where some videos simply go muted, it just seems even more stupid to limit dubbing choices, since in English all videos works just fine.

I was doing a mod just to get around this problem. I got discouraging in the middle of the process, but I will try to finish soon. As I had already finished the mod version for English, I will leave the link for you to download. To use it, simply place the file still compressed into the game's installation folder (usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Spyro Reignited Trilogy") and then extract the file with a file compression program like WinRAR for example.

Now open the Steam game library, select Spyro, click on properties and when selecting any language, the game will keep the dubbing of that language but will have all the text in English, allowing you to play as you wish. As it is impractical to test the mod in 13 different languages, and in all available combinations, I do not guarantee that no error will occur. From the tests I did with several languages, and after playing a lot of Spyro 1 with English audio and Brazilian Portuguese texts (my language) apparently it works perfectly.

English text for all languages: ~edited~

Wow!! I seriously can't thank you enough, you are amazing! It is working perfectly so far! I look forward to your finished version too in the future (I certainly wouldn't mind playing it again in vice versa then, haha).
It really baffles my mind that they couldn't just have the two options separated.

Hahah, funny enough I recently switched my GPS to Norwegian (because they don't offer Danish on it, and I figured it'd be "close enough", lol). Plus there are more Norwegian voiced games (Through the Woods, and I think Among the Sleep). Maybe I will tackle it too sometime! xD
