Summer forest final gem missing

i've searched the entirety of summer forest for the final gem, every space, every secret place, every crack, and i can't find it, i think it's glitched out of existence

If you're using a controller press down on the joystick I think and Sparx should point you in the direction of the closest gem.

I discovered on my very last gem when I played Spyro 2 back in the days...
It is in the control key menu but it really should be more explicit.
