Weird bug where I can't travel beyond the 2nd world.

Hello.
Never posted here before but I thought it would be nice to see if anyone else have experienced the same bug I've encountered. In Spyro: Year of the Dragon, I was in the last world and playing normally. 83 % in. I exited the game the normal way and when I got back into the game I was placed into the first world. I could no longer travel beyond the 2nd world.

I could play the first world hub & the first boss. I went and defeated the first boss hoping it would allow me to travel freely again but it didn't. I just got put in the 2nd world and no way to progress. You can see that I'm quite far into the game from the video I posted below. 18300 gems and can't finish up the game because I can't be arsed to replay the whole game.

Have anyone encountered this bug and is there any solution?

Yes, that's a save game bug. Yours got corrupted, unfortunately.

Do you know if there's any way to uncorrupt it? Or am I ♥♥♥♥ out of luck? I mean I've collected all the eggs and gems so it shouldn't be that hard to implement a check by the devs when you load the game but I'm guessing it's not a priority.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do however only have 1 local save file and 1 cloud save file. Both of them is the corrupted one.

That's sad. If you feel like playing again, try backing up the save file before each time you close the game. Perhaps that way you can avoid this bug the next time.
