Gulp Boss Fight Bug

Toughest boss of the game maybe, I haven't gotten to Ripto yet and I do not remember the 3rd game's bosses beyond Buzz all that much.

But it was made even harder when for some reason, the pterodactyls stopped dropping eggs while the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ had only 2 hits left.

Just do him, when you got the permanent superflame. Its quite easy then :)

How do you get the permanent superflame? I am trying to geat Gulp. But the eggs are not appearing for me as well. Been stuck at 43% for a while now.

You need to unlock all 64 Eggs and 10.000 gems,
then you move to the dragon shores - there is a room for the permanent superflame to unlock it. and gulp is quite easy then

Welp. I don't know what to do. I played around with the Fps. Tried 30/Unlimited & 60. And those eggs are still dissappearing when I have Gulp down to 2 health. I guess I will skip to Year of the Dragon. I am so dissappointed...

Did you leave VSync ON?
I usually set 30 fps and VSync on when I had problems in Tree Tops/Alpine Ridge in Spyro 1. Maybe here it works too?

Yes Vsync is on. I find it so strange how some people are having issues. and others on Pc are not. I wonder if the graphics card may be an issue. I am using a Nvidia 1060 6gb card.

How would it be an issue with the graphics card if it's more than enough for the recommended specs? Different "architecture" perhaps? If the pterodactyls stop dropping eggs then it sounds like an issue with the game having a serious bug.

No but really, other than fps tied to physics being a major issue for this game I don't know why pterodactyls not dropping eggs would be a graphics card issue towards the end of the fight. They were dropping them before so why would they stop dropping now? Makes no sense to just blame the graphics card.

I don't know. Just grasping at straws. Bottom line is that this is unaccetable for a release to have a bug that prevents you from progressing in the game like this. The 2nd game was always my favorite going back to the Ps1 release. I don't know what else to do. Other than seeing If there is a cheat that allows you to unlock all the levels. Such a bummer.

Just did. No errors popped up. Anyone know where to get Pc saves? I really want to finish this game.
