is there a way to get back a save

Played off line for around 10 hours and steam cloud just *** me. I load my game and the cloud bring me the old save and set me back so far.
Is there a way to fix it and get my offline save back or am i screwed ?

If your computer often saves for restoration, try to restore the save file to earlier version, but it's a long shot, you're probably f***ed.
For next time, copy paste your save file in a safe place because you're not the first to have save issue and there is no fix scheduled as far as I know.

Ok thanks seems compromise. I can't find the save folder for this game tho, do you happened to know where it can be located ?

There's two save folders for this game. Usually, it will maintain the same file (FalconSave.106.sav) on the two folders. If you are playing with online connection, the game will save and use the file from AppData folder, and will upload the save on the Steam cloud. For some reason, when you go offline, the game may save only on the Steam save folder. When you go online again, it will search for the file from AppData or Steam cloud. That's when you can lose your progress. It's better to disable the Steam cloud for this game, and everytime you are up to close the game, use ALT+TAB and make a manual backup of the save file from AppData or Steam folder (check which one has the latest record and bigger file size).

- AppData save folder (it's suppose to be the main save folder, at least when you are online):

C:\Users\<WINDOWS USER>\AppData\Local\Falcon\Saved\SaveGames

- Steam save folder (the game may be saved only in this folder if you are at offline mode):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<YOUR STEAM ID>\996580\remote\Falcon\Saved\SaveGames
