While on the original PS1 versions I can easily beat them on my first try or in a few attempts, even a first time player shouldn't have so much trouble. But I feel for those that are playing the Reignited Trilogy versions of these games, because the way flight works in these versions do not compliment the level designs at all, where the original PS1 flight mechanics complimented them perfectly.
The Reignited Trilogy flight controls are too floaty, whereas on PS1 they feel just right. And I am not saying this out of nostalgia either. Had this been a brand new game instead of a remake, they probably could've designed brand new flight levels that better suited the floatier controls.
I had less trouble with Spyro 3's flight levels, but even then, the original version had dynamic difficulty that changes depending on your skill, such as slightly more time or slower opponents after repeated failed attempts, that's absent in this version.
As someone that loves the gameplay variety Spyro 3 brought to the table, I also really enjoyed the flight levels, just not as much in Reignited as on PS1.
Maybe you just suck now? I literally cleared all 3 games speedways like its the 90s again.
