Possible Steam Workshop MODs

Since there's going to be a PC version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy in a few months, I have something to ask.

Could there be some cool MODs in the Steam Workshop, where you could play as characters throughout the trilogy of games, such as Bubba or Magnus?

And when it comes to the playable characters in Spyro: Year of the Dragon, could characters like Shelia and Bentley be playable outside of their small portions of levels, thanks to MODs?

workshop support is unlikely but mods are definitely going to happen

Retexturing Spyro's skin is one thing but making a whole new character with a new model and animations would be an entire undertaking all its own.

Besides allowing Sgt. Byrd, Sheila and other characters playable outside of their existing areas completely breaking the game, it would probably be hard to implement that.
