Enter the Dragonfly Remake

Would any of you consider it as an official remake to be sold, or would you expect the modding community to take this in their own hands?

Not sure, EtD wasn't well received. It wasn't a bad game, but was overshadowed by the amount of glitches and low/unstable framerate.

Just, no. As much as I liked Enter the Dragonfly as a kid, I'd rather not get any bad memories that people had restored.

Considering it's VERY short (9 levels IIRC), why not make it a DLC for Reignited?

I mean, it's still salvageable: it's consistent with the original trilogy's art style, technical issues can be ironed out, and it won't take too much time considering it's size. Slap a 10$ pricetag on it and sell it to people.

I enjoyed that one so much as a kid because I didn't really know anything about bugs and glitches up until now, that game was like the Sonic 06 of Spyro series, and was rushed to compete with other games that were coming out in the early 2000s holidays. I honestly think they should make a whole new Spyro game with the hub world like the classic ones that would be awesome but wouldn't mind them making some fresh ideas for Spyro.

I think both spyro and crash went downhill after the original trilogies, CTR is an exception but I really think they should just stop there, maybe make new games if they can pull it off but ETD was rushed and an incredibly bad game, Twinsanity was better but was still unfinished when they released it, Nothing tops the first three games though so in my opinion they should just leave it unless they're going to make a brand new game.

Not gonna joke, Enter the Dragonfly on Gamecube was only Spyro game I've played & owned. I don't remember the game being glitchy & low FPS at all. I found it quite fun back then but idk now. I would take The Wrath of Cortex remaster over this any day though.

I completely agree with this. I know most people have this strong nostalgic connection with this game, but it probably makes more sense to build something new from the ground up. From what I understand, the EtD team was very ambitious, but couldn't get anything accomplished because of the rushed holiday release date. Maybe T4B could potentially create a new game based on some of their original ideas (then again, Activision isn't really any better when it it comes to giving developers anywhere near the time they need to complete their games)

it wasn't the worst game i've ever played, just... slow, slow loading times, slow progression, slow physics, slow everything

hell, despite its reputation, it's actually less glitchy than reignited! spyro 3, which is an utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to play through

Personally, I think think EtD (as well as Crash's WoC) needs a complete overhaul. Redo the levels to be smaller (they were way too spacish). Add more levels and hubs. Increase the dragonfly count to 150/151, to match YotD's dragon eggs. Have D. Nasty team up with Ripto, as originally planned.

I personally would see Wrath of Cortex bundled together with Enter the Dragonfly. I've no certainty if the two games would mesh together well seeing they use different controls and physics in their games, but I believe they both run on the same engine?
As for the Gnasty and Ripto teamup, would it only be just them or should there be a secret third villain?

I think it was just those two. I guess they were basing it off the "villains' meeting" thing form Spyro 3's skill point book. I don't know about bundling those 2 together though. I think it'll be better if there was 2 bundles, being Crash WoC/Twin and Spyro EtD/aHT.

Speaking of WoC, I think it'll be neat if it was build like Twinsanity. Have you go through the Wumpa Islands being messed up by the Elementals.

Iiiii don't see those kinds of bundles. Both Twinsanity and A Hero's Tail stray too far from the what their original games are supposed to be that they only deserve a standalone release. All this talk and hype about a fully completed Twinsanity remaster is a high possibility, however I do not see anyone touching A Hero's Tail.
Both Wrath of Cortex and Enter the Dragonfly at least try to be as close to the originals as possible using all the same mechanics as the previous games.

crash of the titans and crash mind over mutant was better the first 3 original games because gameplay was more fun however flaw ugle characters artwork turn people away.
