Guns were changed to splattershots, or salami shooters, etc.
Some voices lost their original intent. Ex. Romeo & Juliet in Spyro 2.
Some small details were overlooked in some of the dragons in Spyro 3, most notable is "Ba'ah".
The NTSC version of the Spyro 1 OST was used in High Caves, instead of the PAL version.
None of the Alternative songs in Spyro 1 make an appearance.
None of the Epilogues were added.
The stuff like changing guns to goo and stuff instead of bullets sounds like they're trying to make it less "violent" even though it was never really a violent game to begin with that much
Sounds like similair stuff will happen to CTR Refueled.. For example Oxide now says he'll make them his "minions" instead of "slaves" and no trophy girls it looks like
You can buy from PC in PSN UK(EU) PAL versions. So buy it and extract from original trilogy PS3 packages image files for emulators. Legit available way, no restrictions (well, some regional, cause PSN available in separate versions - some content available in US, some only in UK\EU\JP - choose wisely, for US you probably must have US paymant card\paypal).
Or ebay, ofc.
Lol. Unbelievable.
Yes, DLC is rated differently and doesn't change the final product. It's important to remember.
If enough people demand, we may have the original content as DLC. Maybe, hopefully.
Although I'm stoked to someday play this game, that's admittedly a disgrace and hypocritical considering the main protagonist is a fire-breathing dragon who could burn anything and anyone alive without remorse. It's ridiculous even as an Unreal Engine game that they couldn't consider the most basic small details that counted in its PS1 counterpart. I'm not ignoring this and only stupid people would pretend this wouldn't matter.
