Don't be on of these blasphemers playing with a controller on PC.
At PS1 you could play with the controller without any analog stick, so you can play the game 100% without it (what mean you can play it with just directional, triangle, square, circle, x, R1, L1, R2, L2, so for sure you can play it with keyboard only and not even need for mouse).
It's only blasphemous if you try to limit that, because of some misguided PCMR feeling.
You can play it with a racing wheel, with a guitar hero guitar, with dk bongos, whatever you want.
Thanks everybody, I will buy the game in some time. Question is answered.
Edit: Also a reason I was asking is that some console ports to pc (example dark souls 1 again) have a better experience with controller.
