Though I am concerned about FPS problems, I can live with some glitches until some stability patches.
Here I'll snip it a bit for you:
"The level Alpine Ridge just doesn’t work on 60 fps because the wizards does not move on 60 fps."
Aka, it's not just speedrunners that will be affected.
"Stability patches" do you really think they'll patch out FPS-bound physics? GL with that hope.
Dunno it sounds like pretty game-breaking stuff to me
It was said and re-posted already but: "The level Alpine Ridge just doesn’t work on 60 fps because the wizards does not move on 60 fps."
There's a difference between executives and developers, you know that, right?
Executives wanted to add the microtransactions to Crash Nitro Fueled, and waited until the game had already received high praise to do so.
The developers are the ones that actually want their product to be polished, functional, an enjoyable.
The two have ever been at odds ever since gaming became a mainstream interest (and no, I'm not blaming it on *going* mainstream, I'm blaming the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ executives who do ♥♥♥♥ like underpay workers, force games to be released on a tight schedule and limited budget, etc.)
probably cant do much, not when a lot of the game code has been ported, and a lot of PS1 games from japan / sony etc, always tied framerate to the game logic, so increasing the FPS is hard to impossible
