Why I can't buy it at official Steam stores?

I have look at Green Man Gaming, Humble Store, Fanatical, and Spyro isn't available there.

Is it because these stores sell games with a discount, and you must pay the full 35 dollars / euros at Steam??

Maybe 35 dollars is a fair price at USA or UK. In Spain and a lot of countries the salaries are lower and for us the game costs something like 70 or 100 dollars...

forget it in terms of spyro. why ? because this:

you clearly see there is only the steam store version and there are no entries for other versions to be sold on other stores.. compare that to crash bandicoot n sane trilogy and you will notice the difference.. as long as there won't be new entries like crash bandicoot has, theres is no chance at all to get it somewhere else. the chance right now at this moment is ZERO

might ofc be that they add new entires post-launch and then sell the game on other stores, but right now it doesn't look likely because its not what usually happens. this happens VERY rarely.

also i'Ve spoken to someone from a rather known store and this person told me that activision didn't intend to sell the game on their store which is coherent with the steamdb entries

to make it short, if you want to play the game now, today and/or tomorrow you will be forced to purchase it on steam (or download it illegally which i wouldn't recommend because its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing to do and also spyro doesn't deserve this.. those games are such high-quality products, they should be purchased under any circumstances !!)

Yes I know it sells only in Steam... My question is why... I can buy almost all Steam games at official Steam stores like Green Man Gaming, Fanatical, Humble Store... Even Crash Bandicoot.

I don't understand why I can't buy Spyro there....

Crash and Sekiro are not on fanatical. Sekiro has been out of stock on GMG for a long time now. Its probably down to publishers to decide where the product will be sold.

If they havent given any keys to anyone else than steam, then that would explain it since there isnt a easy way to steal them to sell them for cheap for poorfags like yourself.

They are no official Steam Stores. Steam is official Steam store. You can't buy keys on 3rd party store propably because they are sites like H3B where they resale them.

They are "official" steam stores in the sense that they only sell official keys from publishers or their agents (that they know for a fact are working on behalf of a publisher). They are not reselling keys from individuals. That is why they are not shady like many key resellers are.

As for why the game isn't being sold on the other stores. Blame Activision. They decided not to sell keys to those other retailers so it's not on those stores. (and since they only sell official, if the publisher decides not to sell them any then it doesn't go up on those stores. They only have the one source of keys, after all.) I wouldn't begin to claim to know why that decision is made. :|

Yeah people are complaining about a perfectly done remake and what a remake MUST be, graphics reworked from scratch, 0 additions all original content, good optimization for sure like it was at Crash and the best, three games remade for only 35, re2 remake was fully priced and was a remake long forgotten at first month, crash was all the rage for months...Have it your way.
