The Supercharge combined with jumping in this Stage is broken. Haven't had any trouble with it until now. I'm trying to get that infamous last dragon but everytime Spyro jumps at the peak of each Supercharge Ramp he just hits the edge of the Platform or Ramp he's trying to get to and falls to his doom. This is very frustrating.

I'm just curious has anyone else had an issue like this?

I did as well. Died like 5 times in Tree Tops from supercharge problems. He supercharges noticeably slower than the original.

Glad I'm not the only one that noticed this. I had no issues at all in the Original PS1 game but here? here it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare. I never get angry playing games but this is testing my patience now I must admit.

Just limit the framerate to 30 for this level. :beatmeat:

Thank you you two. I was playing at uncapped already with V-sync enabled I found lowering it to 30 was effective. A shame I had to do that as I've gotten used to much higher framerates over the years but it's better than nothing I guess.

Just wanted to add that lowering to 30FPS allowed me to complete Tree Tops so thank you for that. Weird bug I guess.

Yeah. Many weird movement bugs with completely uncapped FPS. Go with vsync at the very least. Worked perfectly for me.

Honestly even with the original games there's a reason why super charge jumps where removed in 2 or 3.

Can confirm this works. The jump for the last dragon was impossible at unlimited (144 with vsync) fps. Changed it to 30 in the settings and cleared the jump by 2-3x the length of Spyro himself.

does anybody have any advice for making the jump where you gotta turn at like 180 degrees or something? Can't seem to make it.

I don't think its impossible, I'm pretty sure I managed it with those settings (but might be misremembering tho). Either way I sure used up a lot of lives.

The fact that the movement physics don't work as intended without manually lowering the framerate is a QA and development travesty and I'm just venting at this point... ugh.

It works semi fine at 120FPS
