Yeah, and the worst thing is, it wasn’t even the studio, it was activision who decided it, the developers wanted to keep it like it oiginally were, but activision wanted to keep the age restriction ratings low, and decided to change the game..

Sjw and pc culture has everything to do with it, the developers wanted to keep it, but activision forced them to change it to keep age ratings low, an age rating that comes from a private entity, not a government body I might add, so all it is is politics = sjw and pc politics.

For the audience it was based around. If you don't like it, you have the originals, as you've clearly stated. They had their reasons for doing what they did... and Bombo WAS a Muslim character. That's why they changed it, because in today's day and age people online will go crazy over it. It's not ruining the PC game culture, it's already been ruined which is why it had to.There's no need to call people "desperate for attention," or mock a great remake that otherwise stayed completely accurate to the originals with more design, many of the same voice actors, etc..

Imagine trashing a game over small changes that in no way affect the actual gameplay or anything.

I'm not a fan in particular regarding censorship, but maybe you should focus on fighting the good cause over things that actually matter instead of a kids game regarding censors that you otherwise never would've noticed if you didn't have access to the internet and someone pointed it out.

I didn't even notice it, it means that little until you pointed it out and before I even knew, it in no way suppressed my enjoyment of the game so far.

You wanna throw it on sjw and what not, that's fine. You can go that route, but you do realize your outcry is just as ridiculous, just on the other side of the fence, right?

Just like not every single thing has to be censored, it should also be okay to censor some things if it doesn't fit the time anymore for whatever reason.

I have noticed censorship in Reignited almost straight away the moment I see it, among some other changes that I wish stayed. I've spent millions of hours playing the original games, so I know exactly what people talk about regarding the original 3.

Kind of sad, but unfortunately this is how remakes/rereleases of games are these days & just gotta learn to live with it and try to enjoy the actual gameplay.

If it's any consolation, he's still called 'bombo' in the game's files. It shouldn't be that difficult to mod his name back into the game. Not sure if it would be possible to add machine guns back into the game, but there are plenty of talented modders in the community, so who knows. Not sure if that helps in solving your issue. All things considered, this is an incredible re-interpretation of Insomniac's incredible trilogy, it would be a shame to overlook this awesome game just because of a few minor nitpicks.
