Yeah, and the worst thing is, it wasn’t even the studio, it was activision who decided it, the developers wanted to keep it like it oiginally were, but activision wanted to keep the age restriction ratings low, and decided to change the game..
maybe someone can change name and change weapon texture like before.
I’ll stick to the ps versions, don’t wanna have the memories ruined because social justice have ruined the rating system.
Social Justice Warriors have ♥♥♥♥ all to do with it.
It has to do with the fact that having an Arabic character going around bombing people in a kids' game is incredibly insensitive to the hundreds of people who died in Muslim Terrorist attacks, both muslim and western victims alike.
Sjw and pc culture has everything to do with it, the developers wanted to keep it, but activision forced them to change it to keep age ratings low, an age rating that comes from a private entity, not a government body I might add, so all it is is politics = sjw and pc politics.
Then again, you're obviously a kid because "lol xD im so funny and cool, this game sucks and I only play the orginials!!11!"
I'm not a fan in particular regarding censorship, but maybe you should focus on fighting the good cause over things that actually matter instead of a kids game regarding censors that you otherwise never would've noticed if you didn't have access to the internet and someone pointed it out.
I didn't even notice it, it means that little until you pointed it out and before I even knew, it in no way suppressed my enjoyment of the game so far.
You wanna throw it on sjw and what not, that's fine. You can go that route, but you do realize your outcry is just as ridiculous, just on the other side of the fence, right?
Just like not every single thing has to be censored, it should also be okay to censor some things if it doesn't fit the time anymore for whatever reason.
Kind of sad, but unfortunately this is how remakes/rereleases of games are these days & just gotta learn to live with it and try to enjoy the actual gameplay.
Off topic but how the hell do you play the originals for ''millions'' of hours? That's just pure insanity.
