I find it weird that the Twilight Harbor gnorcs' weapons were changed. Pinstripe in the N. Sane Trilogy and Nitro Fueled kept his tommy gun. Pretty inconsisitent right there.
The one monk in Colossus does say "torch" instead of "kill" now, but to be fair, in the original, while he did say "kill", the textbox said "torch".
As for Scorch's flagkeeper, Bombo/Bob, that needed to be changed. Due it the events that happened after the game came out in 99', it wasn't the best idea keep a stereotypical middle-eastern guy wearing a turban (and what also appears to be wearing diapers for pants) in the game. I personally like his new look. He actually looks like a cartoonish djinn/genie now.
As for his "bombs", they never were actual bombs in the original. They were always explosive energy orbs, but they were orange-white in color and were referred to as bombs. I think the remake still refer to them as bombs in the green objectives textbox.
Not only is he a single enemy who appears in a single level, who gives you a single Orb if you win his challenge. But a Turban Wearing Arab throwing bombs around in a kid's game is incredibly insensitive to the victims of all the terrorist bombings that have happened over the last 2 decades.
Renaming him was perfectly reasonable, but people still get up in arms over it.
Moral Outrage Culture has well and truly gone beyond the point of being a joke.
Yep. They never looked like bombs.
