Spyro™ Reignited Trilogy

Spyro™ Reignited Trilogy

Statistiche:
What are some things they censored out of the original?
For example they removed the guns that some enemies had, or if they did have guns it would shoot goo and not real bullets. Also there was a middle eastern level in Spyro 2 called Scorch were a turban man would in the original throw bombs at you and say it's bombing time. But in the remaster he just throws power orbs.

I don't get why the dude in Scorch throws power orbs at you, but the sleepy Rhinoc miniboss in 3 throws normal bombs at you
Maybe because he is an arab and they were afraid that was stereotyping so they removed that.
Too damn much, I’ll stick to the ps version, won’t bother with this pc culture mess of a game

Not wanting to reference Terrorism in a kid's game = PC culture.
I could have sworn Bombo threw green orbs that exploded in the original. Is that just me misremembering things?

I dunno did he?
I think all the posts pretty much covered everything.

I find it weird that the Twilight Harbor gnorcs' weapons were changed. Pinstripe in the N. Sane Trilogy and Nitro Fueled kept his tommy gun. Pretty inconsisitent right there.

The one monk in Colossus does say "torch" instead of "kill" now, but to be fair, in the original, while he did say "kill", the textbox said "torch".

As for Scorch's flagkeeper, Bombo/Bob, that needed to be changed. Due it the events that happened after the game came out in 99', it wasn't the best idea keep a stereotypical middle-eastern guy wearing a turban (and what also appears to be wearing diapers for pants) in the game. I personally like his new look. He actually looks like a cartoonish djinn/genie now.

As for his "bombs", they never were actual bombs in the original. They were always explosive energy orbs, but they were orange-white in color and were referred to as bombs. I think the remake still refer to them as bombs in the green objectives textbox.

Oh interesting, I thought I remembered them being bombs in the original and I was curious how they were going to censor him from a 4chan thread
also why is 4 chan censored?
I'm trying to type in the name of a anonymous image website that discusses video games and anime and steam keeps censoring it like what the heck?
People getting triggered by Bombo getting renamed is ridiculous.

Not only is he a single enemy who appears in a single level, who gives you a single Orb if you win his challenge. But a Turban Wearing Arab throwing bombs around in a kid's game is incredibly insensitive to the victims of all the terrorist bombings that have happened over the last 2 decades.

Renaming him was perfectly reasonable, but people still get up in arms over it.

Moral Outrage Culture has well and truly gone beyond the point of being a joke.

Yep. They never looked like bombs.

I remember laughing at all the silly changes countries like China would make to games for the sake of censorship. But now we censor even more than them.
