Do people hate the speedway levels? Why?
I've always thought they were really fun when I was a kid because you get to fly in those levels lol. Kind of weird how Spyro flies only in those levels, but he won't or requires a powerup to fly a limited time in most of the game. Also those levels aren't hard there is a specific order you can do those objectives.

The controls can be a bit clunky and it's pretty much unrecoverable if you miss one of the objects so you have to line up a perfect run or bust. Both of those can cause a bit of frustration.

I find them much easier to do now than I did in my youth lol.

When I played them as a child they seemed almost impossible when I finally managed to do one of them I was major disappointed cause one of the dragon tells you that is how you learn to fly of course as a child I really thought I would be able to fly freely in every level.

Now in the reiginted edition they are really not that hard if you follow a strict pattern.
So I used to hate them but now I'm ok with them.

At first, when I started out playing Spiro 1 (what I haven't played as a child) I had trouble with speedway levels, but it was really easy to learn the mechanics behind the level, so in the end it became really easy. I had trouble only with one level I think where targets were really in chaotic order. Also I found that playing with mouse and keyboard felt easier to do these levels, but that is IMHO.

Because of the controls and the fact that 99% of the time a single mistake makes you fail what you were doing but the run still doesn't end so you're forced to end it yourself.
