You can obtain it in Dragon Shores after completing the game at 100%.

No. When you complete Spyro 2 100% you unlock the ability to have permanent superflame. It was the same in the PS1 version. After that if you start a new game you also start with it, which was also a feature in the PS1 version. There's a cheat code to turn it off.

It's really not too challenging. In Spyro 1 & 3 you unlock a hidden level and a hidden ending if you do.

Depends what you've bound your keys as.

Superflame Powerup toggle
(For Spyro 2 only. This only works after you've collected 10, 000 gems and all 64 orbs. It lets you toggle the permanent superflame powerup you unlock after 100% completion on/off)
