I'd say the only outdated part is the GTX 1060. The 7700k is no different to modern CPUs in terms of gaming.

Im running a i9 9900k with dual 1080 TI's and i get around 250 - 300 FPS. :D

Game runs extremely well.

Games designed to work on a 4 core 2ghz ish cpu with a mobile gpu. A few higher res textures and boom, pc port.

Ryzen 1700, RX580 4GB, 16GB DDR4 (3200), 1440p, game on SSD. all options on max., no vsync.
Game runs super-smooth (freeSync). No lags, short loading times, no stutter. FPS between 45 and 200fps. mostly between 55 and 70.

Love it so far.

Don't get me wrong, you PC is a good mid range PC but it's on the lower bracket of midrange. Your CPU is holding you back a bit. It's a bit outdated, yes.
