PC or PS4?

I know the console version runs at 30FPS, but it looks fine, seems like the animations were made with 30 FPS in mind so it's smooth.

Asking because there's a 50% sale on PS4 right now, and there's just something 'right' about playing Spyro on PlayStation)

It's not quake 1, animations will get as many frames as your pc can render, with some limitations.

1) the consoles have terrible framepacing issues

2) the game has issues with physics breaking above 30fps so your mileage may vary.

I'm PCMR so I'd say buy it for PC. People here talk about fps problems however everything works fine with me at 1440p 144fps.

walk 10 ft forward in game, stop. And tell me spyro doesnt continue to slide for 10+ seconds. Also the game is def worth 50% off on console, its not worth full price on pc due to the fps related bugs.

It depend on Your PC SPEC And your viewpoint First Not Every one who Play PC can play Every game with 4K 144Fps most people here use 1050ti or 1060 and some of them play everythings with"Low Quality " then If u Have console And your PC is not that good Then just go for PS4 plus thier is discount now and with this game like this 30Fps is fine for me especially most Exclusive on PS4 is 30fps so i dont think it's the problem at all

But if u really want Some exclusive game from console to come to PC further more then just purchase it on PC to prove that PC have Purchasing power enough to make Dev to think that if they port the game to PC their is people who gonna purchase it

I got it on PS4 for two reasons.
1. It just seems fitting for the former Playstation exclusive to be played on a Playstation.
2. I didn't have a PS4 at the time I first heard of it, so I didn't want to get a PS4, only for me to buy most the games I'd want to play be on the Xbox One, anyways. (Steam is not mentioned because I think a good prerequisite for Steam is an at least half decent computer, and I don't have one of those yet.)

What I mean is most games made for 30 FPS look fine at 30 FPS, like Dark Souls, The Last of Us etc. While games made for 60 usually look janky at 30.

Game has issues at higher framerates, but there are plenty of tools available to stop them from cropping up. Most of them are in-game. A combination of Vsync and capping your framerate fixes everything.

at 60hz, its capping the fps that causes it. you want uncapped in that case.

PC for sure if you have a decent one. With a 8700k and a 1080 I couldn't get 60fps at 4k to hold so I went 1440p but honestly looks like it's running 4k despite that and is locked now. The only thing I'll note. There is 1 stage specifically where if you're playing at 60fps. A enemy will be lifting and dropping a wall to a cave your're suppose to fly into.

They don't drop the wall back down at 60fps, maybe at higher frame rates. But if you switch it to 30fps at that part, it'll drop the wall and work normally. Then just put the framerate back to 60fps.

I'd say PC either way. Say you're going to play 30fps. With Vsync on it's perfectly good at 30fps. With it off it'll have frame pacing BS. The games look slightly better. You're going to have 4k if you can handle it or whatever options you like. You can use more control types etc. I use a PS4 control on steam games so it's basically playing on a PS4 Super Pro lol

how is this with a xbox one controller? i got a the gx 1050, 16gb ram i7-7700 series cpu. would i be ok to run this without issues on my laptop?As i said with a xbox one controller that does work.. via usb (use it for emulation,, no i dont got xbox one)

PC has a Higher Quality, & uses more Colors, than a traditional Console, the Shadow Effects, & the sunlight are amazing.
