How the hell do you activate the boost for the skateboard races ?

I'm doing the skateboard race against Hunter and it tells me to press the right mouse button (the charge button) to boost, yet when I press it (even with the boost meter at max) nothing happens... am I missing something ?

Either your mouse's right click doesn't work or you need to switch to a gamepad.

Thing is the click works for charging ... so yeah ... I don't know why this isn't working.
Will try using a gamepad, if that works however then this is a dev issue.

I'm having the same issue... I binded the charge to a different key and that didn't change anything at all. I've been searching the internet for a solution but I can't find anything on this particular issue. If you fixed it could you tell me what you did?

I have no idea what's wrong here - if it works for charging it should work for boosting as well. Then again, I'm no PC expert nor do I have the Steam version, so I can't really help you there.

All I can say is on Switch, it worked fine for me. Maybe it will on PC as well with a controller.

Just try a controller. Keyboard is more buggy I think for this version. This port is kind of lazy for PC honestly.

Yeah I thought the same thing. Very frustrating that it works fine for charge but as soon as I'm in the skateboard part it doesn't register for whatever reason. Will try a controller and see how I go.

I think I or used a controller for this section or I had to reset the controls to default and it worked correctly then

For some reason, exactly skating does NOT feel mouse continuing click. I have LMB for fire and RMB for action (triangle) and both work perfectly even with long click everywhere except for skating.
