Three broomsticks barman bug or lore?

Have had a few graphical glitches that I thought I had resolved but just met the barman of the three broomsticks who on mine has a female model but male voice, is that a bug or is there some lore behind it (no game spoilers please but haven't read the books and only seen the first film)
On one hand it's so out of place that it has to be a bug, on the otherhand the lip syncing makes me wonder...and this is a game with paintings that animate so wierd has a different definition lol.
If its a bug is there a known fix?

The sound engineering on this project is some of the worst I've ever heard. Sound levels, EQ, echo/reverb, everything is all over the place with no continuity. And people choose to focus on one character's voice?

Well i dunno because my friend play this game in french and told me her voice is perfectly female sounding. so yeah i dont know what to think of this , at any rate not worth wasting our days on it.

When a main character has a male voice and a female model it stands out.
I would not have guessed the character was trans simply because the trans customers I see at work in the real world all disguise thier voices. But that's a limited sample of 3 lol. Now I know it's a how the character is in the books/film then it's a non issue.

Not noticed any issues with the sounds in game, but not played much so far

Sirona's not a main and has less involvement than Officer Singer, but that's beside the point. The Sirona character is especially jarring because the volume level on the voice is louder than other characters, with more reverb, like the VA was in a bathroom or something. One of the male PC voices is similarly weird with echo/reverb. The Revelio sound is another one. It's obnoxiously loud compared to other trivial background sounds unless you're on a mount/broom. On meh speakers, it's not as noticeable. But with decent speakers, oof. The audio system is wonky, and the files themselves are all over the place.

Yes it is intentional, like the dr. girlfriends voice on the venture bros. So it is not a bug.

yeh, her voice will catch you off guard the first time you hear it.

As far as it being a male voice, I doubt it, I went to school with 2 ladies (biological female, that I knew since kindergarden) that after puberty had voices of a similar register. One was a tomboy and the other acted very girly-girl, both were stout like Sirona. Women with simiar voices are rare, but they are out there.

I heard voices like this in real life to women who smoke alot of cigarettes. It makes their voices raspy like that.
