Haven online coop?
I really think this game would have been great for people who live a great distance from each other. Any chance of that happening?

Hello

For now, we just plan to have local co-op, we really think it's a game you have to share on the same sofa. Also, you can play solo, it's how the game is designed in the first place :)

That means no coop at all, thanks
That is absolutely not true.
Steam has a feature called "Remote Play Together", that allows you to play local co-op games online. It's even better because only one person needs to buy the game.

I would love online co-op. My wife and I live apart due to work, but we love gaming together, and this game would really fit our bill.

I would hope they implement a Co-Op. This game is simply perfect for it. :LowFreqThumbsUp:

There is co-op, it's just that right now all we know is it's local co-op.

I have a friend who's dating someone who doesn't leave his own house, having played games like A Way Out via online co op as a bonding experience once. They're down for playing this game if the game had online co op.
I know being with someone close in person is healthy, but long distance relationships and Discord are a thing.

Yeah we need online co-op for this :D

There is free software out there that "simulate" couch co op but through the internet. The only one I've used so far is Parsec and it works well. Its not perfect but its better than not playing at all I guess.

It means people can enjoy online co op for all those great local only games out there. My recent favourite is wizard of legend

damn all the people i play with are like a million miles away :-/ devs you gotta think bout them long distance relationship people!

barely people play local co-op games due to the limitations(splitscreen/multiple controllers needed/not living together with partner/...), online co-op should be the aim, i do get that it is a totally different mechanics behind it but you will miss a lot of sales due to people preferring online co-op over solo and local co-op

If i sit with my girl on the same sofa, we don't need a game like this , but if we sit on sofas, miles away, it could be very cool to play this..

yes, however no! the remote play together is kind of buggy. i'd very much like to be able to play this game with someone i love in a game DESIGNED for online play rather than shoehorned in via wierd steam wizardry.

Wait, it's buggy? Damn, I was looking forward to trying it, and I assumed that it left beta because they'd fixed most bugs.

If the steam remote play doesn't work for you, try Parsec, parsec is great for long distance local coop
