Guide for adding a sound effect

I would like to make a audio file that plays when you warm up the hyperdrives , a high speed low frequency turbine winding up in scale to the warm up time of the engines powering up. If you can make it go for it and ill just download it! :)

It would require adding some script IMO. As there is no sound for charging FTL engines that could be replaced.

BTW.
After 1.0 release I personally cannot anymore swap sound and use my own ones.

"Atomic Batteries to Power, turbines to speed..." though I think the tire screeching at the end would be a little over the top. :P Honestly that retro 60s warm up sound would be cute.
