Migration not working for cargo

All my people got to the new area, but I couldn't get any of my starting kits to migrate with me.

You need to deploy them on the asteroid. Did you do that?

Did you send them all at the same time? I did a massive migration, 3 shuttles (with 11 crew) and 6 cargo shuttles.

I loaded the crews into the shuttles, clicked on the first shuttle, and then held shift as I clicked on the other 2 shuttles and all 6 cargo shuttles. The panel in the lower left showed the whole lot (so I made sure I hadn't accidentally selected the cargo "port" and not the cargo "shuttles") ... and hit "migrate"!
