No Mouse Button

Like with 'The Last Starship', I played this game because it was good without issues for several hours (outside of steams return window). But as with last starship, when opening the game the mouse button has disappeared unless the game is played windowed. I hate playing games windowed so much so they feel unplayable to me. I constantly close the full screen instead of in-game menus. I was hoping the last starship would quickly get resolved but doesn't appear the devs are even looking at this issue.

Please, PLEEEASE fix this.

4080 Super
32gb RAM
Ryzen 7 9800x3d
Windows 11

Don't worry. Will try to help as best as we can.

It could be Windows mouse trail or some other program, like OBS. Or some other overlay.

You can also try setting the game window to "Borderless" from the in-game options:

Borderless is full screen but allows moving between monitors with mouse without the game minimizing. So it is perfectly fine to play with that.

Let me know if you have mouse trail on or if you can find any solutions in the reddit thread or if you are able to test with borderless.

Thanks for the reply! I have researched it and try to find a fix in the past but no luck sadly. Checked mouse trail and it was off and deleted several of the razer apps to see if that was holding it off but no luck. This has only happened on The Last Starship and Space Haven in the last 2 years i've has this PC so I'm assuming there must be a program on my computer its conflicting with. I just don't understand why it works when first downloaded and then maybe 1 in 10 attempts after that. I have tried borderless but same issue.

I lied. Borderless does work apparently!! Thanks for the support and will update the thread if anything changes.

Hi! Alright, great! Yeah, borderless makes sense since it is similar to windowed mode but it fills the whole screen.

It is strange indeed on why it disappears, but borderless is basically the same as full screen so playing with that is totally OK. It also allows moving the mouse outside of the game without minimizing. =)
